Ask

Sourced answers from the open web and models. For that chat you can enable: Optional sources: Academic, Reddit, Wikipedia, GitHub. Use Ask for current events, synthesis, and anything that should cite the web.

NexDocs

Answers from files in your workspace. Upload in Library / Files, then ask against one document or many. Use NexDocs for “what does this PDF say?”, not for a live web roundup.

Which to pick

You can start in Ask, then open a file in NexDocs in another thread. Library keeps both.
